SS11:: Kate Moss for Longchamp

The following pictures are of Kate Moss posing with her new designs for her Longchamp bag range.
This season sees a selection of stripe, woven shopping bags and plaited strap satchels, along side her signature leather buckle.

Moss is also accompanying a summer seventies look with heavy fringe, kaftans and wide- legged trousers.
Her beauty never fades.

SS11:: House Of Holland

If I could choose a gay best friend, Henry Holland would be top of that list. Think of all the fun you would have if he was your bezza; all the exciting events you would get entry to and the free items from his collections. Yes, the clothes- how would they not come into it?

Lively, young and full of colour, the House Of Holland spring/summer collection is no left turn from what is usually expected. This season sees the noticeable recurrence of those smiling pastel colours (blue, purple, green) splattered across busy patterns with a glistening hint here and there.
Fringing and pleats also make up a big fraction with stand out pom pom earrings, in colours to match the outfits, adding a unique touch compared to that of other similar collections.

It's a big world:: Shoe Obsession for 2011's Spring and Summer

Call me a shoe fanatic but boy was aI excited whilst making this post! :')

Platform heels
As the years go by, the heights get higher! For someone who’s about average high, I’m completely in for this awesome shoe trend! The little extra height doesn’t too tacky and overall, gives a touch of femininity!

Wedges

They were popular the previous year and they still don’t disappoint the next year! Personally what I love about wedges is that there’s this unique summery vibe…or maybe it’s just me…but still, you’ve got to love them!

Studded Heels
2011 has introduced another theme trend- punk rocker chic style! What better way to bring this to your own wardrobe, by owning one of these versatile beautys?!

Clogs
Although it may not sound like a fabulous shoe trend, clogs are still as fashionable as ever! After making their return last year, it’s time to kick it up a notch and aim for the colours!

Bright Shoes
An average girl (like me) would die to come up with ways to add colour to their wardrobe- and these shoes are the way to go! After looking through all these, I’d admit I have the urge to invest in some of these myself!

Heeled oxfords/brogues
As a matter of fact, I’ll be getting me some this weekend! Brogues and oxfords have made their way through the fashion industry- now with height! A smart, stylish chic way to bring professionalism into your wardrobe, whilst adding a classic touch!

It's a big world:: I sence Springtime

The time is nigh! You are probably beginning to spend your dosh on new outfits for the warmer weather, seeing as Spring is always such a lovely season. So elegant and tender that loose, floating dresses in calm colours seem very fitting.

Of course, it's all about the bold colours this season and standing out from the comfort zones. But, for those more laid back days, the peaceful walks through the countryside and finally paying a much loved visit back to the grass in your back garden with an engrossing book, why not settle for looks like the following. They're just calling for your attention.

Inspired:: Out and about- Meal at Yoyos!

This post’s a tad late…(about two weeks ago, I’d say) because I couldn’t find the USB cable for a while and almost resorted in giving up…so close, but thankfully I found it. At that time, we went to a restaurant called Yoyos Beijing, where…they obviously did Chinese food! J
Although I can’t really share how great the food was on here, I can share the fact there was a hell lot of inspiration, in fashion-wise. Personally I liked the different colour palette the place used- reds, oranges, gold and tints of pink! The place too, has a nice relaxing atmosphere with foreign music in the background.

Happy Chinese New year...from yesterday!

Moving on, to channel a partial Chinese-inspired casual outfit, I’ve used a frilly, sleeved, chiffon, (resembling the lovely vibe) deep red dress with an elasticated waist! To portray the extravagant detail, I’ve used these on-the-trend heels! To take a different approach to this outfit, wear the dress as a top and pair it with some slim leather trousers for a more sophisticated and challenging look! Although it’s a bit edge-ish, I’ve balanced it out using a dainty ring and a metallic long necklace. To brighten it up a bit, I’ve finally added a crochet flower kimono!
Pity it's still cold, Spring is meant to be on the way...

For the next look, I aimed to get a cute winter look, suitable for everyday and the night! A velvet dress is definitely very trend and has becoming popular lately! This dress can easily be transformed into a day/night outfit, depending on the accessory used, and this outfit…mixes the two! Velvet dress + black boots + knee high shoes = perfect night out! To add a little warmth, add this gold-looking waterfall cardigan and pair it up with this versatile snood. Finally, add a little sparkle with this detail bracelet!

Style icons:: Alison Mosshart

Her defining bold, brown eyes pierce through you with just one look, if not hidden behind the barricade of thick, black fringe. She's a predator seeking pray, hungry and impatient.

Stage presence is always misleading.

Alison Mosshart is one of those woman I would kill to be. On the outside she's as cool as a Compsognathus dinosaur but on the inside she's relaxed and warm hearted, adding to that awesomeness she is.
If not making music with fellow friend Jamie Hince in The Kills or collaborating with legend Jack White in The Dead Weather, Mosshart is most known for her tomboyish yet inspiring fashion sense.

Never seen in a dress (apart from these pictures of her posing in designer brands such as Dolce and Gabbana), she lives in skinny jeans and loose teas avec shirts and statement rock 'n' roll jackets. Plus a river of black that splashes over her on a day to day bases.

Take these pictures. What she wears is perhaps what you would call casual and place over you when on a small trek into town. However, Alison Mosshart can pull it off any time of the day, any time of the year and this is why she is looked upon so highly as a real fashion icon of today.

The Kills are back with a new single called Satellite

Structured
Without further ado, I introduce to you my favourite bag season EVER! To be fair I can’t actually say what it is I love so much about this bag trend…perhaps it’s the unique shape, or maybe it’s how well the different-shaped-bag can look ever so classy…or could it be the colours? I’ll get back to you on that!
