Inspired:: Flickr Addict Series- No.3

Inspiration can be taken from all sorts of media, really. And I've probably gone for an easier option, but Flickr is definately one of those thought-provoking website, where people can upload, edit, explore or share their images with everyone.To some extent, the images do illustrate a different perspective so I've decided that a fashion interpretation can be expressed vividly. Please note that no credit will be taken for any of the Flickr Images and the links to them will be provided below.

Por las ramas.

If I remember well, this was one of the exclusive pictures of the day...or something :') I picked this one because ...well, the bird does look really cute in my opinion! But also, the monchrome pallette gives a great effect and contrast!

To create an outfit from this, I mainly focused on the feathered-texture of the bird! And this dress does a great job of illustrating the detail and the belt attached to it, it portrays the branch of the tree. Then to continue on with the monotone colour, I've added this parka (in fashion, at the moment I believe!) to keep you wrapped up and warm! It'd be a challenge to put off this coat for an evening attire, so it's worth the risk! With the coat adding a military edge to the outfit, I've balalnced it out using these stunning black patterned heels!

Maaybeee, i was a tad inspired..but i decided to create another one to portray the bird's little wings!

This time I aimed to achieve a daytime look instead! Similar to the previous, this dress has the same colour and the belt but rather than feathered ruffles, this one focuses more on the draped look. Oddly enough, I'm sure Cher Lloyd..wore something like this on X-factor? ..Not that i'm obsessed with it or anything, but...yeah, moving on...

Although it's a dress, i'd still pair it up with these jeans for the warmth as it still goes with the pallette of the image. Finally, stand out with these wellies and you're bound to tackle the winter blues! These wellingtons are something worth spending your money on!

The Road to Romance.

For the next part of the Flickr Addict Series, a friend of mine had choosen an inspirational picture and ta-da, here's what i got!

If I remember (sorry, memory fail!) my friend personally loved this picture because of the reflection of the stones and liked the colour used! Even I'd agree that the texture in this was outstanding!

At first, I knew this called for another evening outfit! To portray the texture in the stones, i believe this skirt does the job! Although you can't really tell, upclose this skirt is actually made of velvet and with that structure, how can one not love it?! Focusing on the midnight sky, I've used this lace-ish top which works well. Since the image is set during the dark, I felt using tights to create a perfect silhouette, which i paired with these super trending and unique mesh-like wedges! Additionally, I've used this necklace to resemble the moonlight.

Even though velvet is known to be more popular for evening events, I want to show you that you could incorporate it in your daily wear as well!

Still using the same velvet skirt, this time I've used this casual-ish purple floral top which goes well the reflection of the black cobbles. But nevertheless, I've resembled hte blue sky through these pom-pom shoes! To finish it all off, this necklace portrays the stones with its beaded structure.
