It's a big world:: Maxi's go sheer?

Although I wasn't ever really too keen on the whole maxi fashion, i ended up blinking ridiculously after seeing this trend? The sheer touch made its way through the fashion route, that too with a heck lot of popularity <3 and now it goes onto maxi dresses and skirts!

The model-off duty look by Abbey Lee above, managed to really pull of the dress (well dur, shes a model afterall?) and the sheer touch gives a edgy touch to the whole outfit! Personally, i really loved is the flowy-ness of the skirt- it sorta looks rather classy, sophisticated, yet god damn simple?! Boy, I really am in love with the trend :')

Although i haven't hit the shops as of yet, i started surfing the internet trying to find some sort of sheer touch to a maxi but the trend hasn't made its way around...but it will- but only for the time being- which is a bummer :|

What some have said about this trend, is that it's going to be here and then gone, before you know it :) and i'd partially agree! It'll have its spotlight but something is going to steal its attention-- but that's how fashion rolls <3

I'll be my own model off duty.

First things first- HOW CUTE ARE THESE SHOES?! Moving on...

This romantic lace maxi dress is a perfect alternative to Abbey Lee's maxi skirt- probably even better since the lace pattern to the sheer is a bonus! If you view it on the catwalk, you'll agree with me that this dress is VERY flowy and rather princessey ;)  If worn like a skirt, you can use this asymmetric (those sort are really in fashion by the way!) square jumper for the more trendy feel and structured proportion :) To add to the structure like Abbey Lee did as well, I’ve added this cardigan-jacket for the rockstarish vibe! This necklace matches the hues and has a bit of detailing to add to the uniqueness of the outfit :) Wear some funky rings and voila- there you are your own Abbey Lee outfit <3
